Dr. Linda Trigg, a registered Clinical Psychologist, has been advising and counseling children and families since1981. Dr. Trigg was the Executive Director of New Directions for Children, Youth and Families from 1991 to 2001. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Winnipeg Child and Family Services from 2001 to 2004. Most recently, Linda has returned to providing direct help and support to families, parents and children undergoing emotional stress and conflict.

In addition to having her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Trigg is a member of the Psychological Association of Manitoba and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Manitoba. While continuing her work as a Psychologist, Linda served for three years on the United Way Campaign Cabinet. For her nine years as a volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association, she received the National Outstanding Volunteer Award for her service to the Board of Directors and for organizing a national conference.

Linda has always worked in the best interests of children and believes that parents can be children’s best source of support.
