Sharon E. Kravetsky is a partner in the law firm of Taylor McCaffrey LLP, specializing in the areas of family law and mediation.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, 1956, Ms. Kravetsky was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 1990. She studied at the University of Manitoba, completing the B. H.Ec. in 1977 and then the LL.B. in 1989. From there she proceeded to study at Osgood Hall in Toronto, and in 2002 she completed her Masters of Law degree (LLM) with a specialization in Alternate Dispute Resolution. Her practice includes Collaborative Law and Mediation as well as negotiation and litigation.

Ms. Kravetsky is a member of the Canadian Bar Association; Family Law Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section; Manitoba Bar Association; Family Mediation Canada. She holds the position of Member at Large on the Executive of the Family Subsection for the Manitoba Bar Association.

In addition, Ms. Kravetsky teaches the required course in Family Law at the University of Manitoba. She has also lectured to the Bar Admission Course on the topic of Family Law and has been a panelist for the Law Society of Manitoba on such topics as pensions. She authored "A Critique of the Manitoba Marital Property Regime", (with Jim Stoffman, Q.C.) (1988) 3 C.F.L.Q. 269.
