Shameem graduated from University of Winnipeg in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Conflict Resolution Studies and went on to attend Law School at the University of Manitoba, graduating in 2003. Her involvement in high conflict cases over the last 16 years of practice has given her significant experience in using skills to assist in resolving conflict and resolving cases, both in and outside of court. Shameem is a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba and is an executive committee member of the Manitoba Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
Shameem believes that conflict and transition can lead to positive change and using a collaborative approach with families who are in the midst of restructuring can protect and promote positive family relationships.
