    Sharon Kravetsky is a partner at Taylor McCaffrey LLP, where she practices family law.

    Ms. Kravetsky obtained her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1989 and was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 1990. While continuing her practice, she obtained her Masters of Law degree (LLM) at Osgoode Hall with a specialization in Alternate Dispute Resolution in 2002. Her practice includes Collaborative Law and Mediation as well as negotiation and litigation.

    Ms. Kravetsky currently serves on the Executive of the National Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association.

    Ms. Kravetsky is a member of the Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of the Canadian and Manitoba Bar Associations; and Family Mediation Canada. She served on the Executive of the Family Subsection of the Manitoba Bar Association for many years, and presently is a member of the Steering Committee of Collaborative Practice Manitoba.

    Ms. Kravetsky taught the required course in Family Law at the University of Manitoba Law School for approximately 20 years. She has spoken at many Manitoba and National Family Law and Judicial Conferences on family law issues, including “Til Death Do You Part and Beyond” (March 2010), “Getting to 20/20, Refining Our Focus: Putting Children First” (March 2011),”What’s Time Got To Do With It? Examinations of Shared Custody & Child Support (March 2012), “Contempt: Compliance, Restoration & Punishment” (February 2011 and July 2012),”Variation of Custody Orders: A Primer” (February 2013) and “Yours, Mine & Ours! Adventures in Property” (March 2013)

    Ms Kravetsky was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 edition of the Best Lawyers In Canada in the specialty of Family Law and as the Lawyer of the Year for 2013 for Family Law in Winnipeg.
