Daniel has been practicing family law since his call to the bar in 2009. While not limited to the collaborative process, Daniel’s preferred focus is collaboration and mediation. An honest, down-to-earth approach to separation and divorce, Daniel attempts to put common sense before the common law. His approach is primarily child focused with the view that a holistic approach to separation, which leaves a relationship intact for co-parenting, is the most effective and beneficial outcome. Ultimately, Daniel’s motivations lie not only in the short-term separation details, but making certain the Agreement reached will have a long-lasting outcome.

Daniel has been on the board of the Collaborative Practice Manitoba with a one-year stint on the executive committee. He has taken some mediation courses with a view to getting his certificate to practice mediation within the next two years.

Daniel has a blended family and understand the dynamics of separation, the sacrifices and hard work it takes to make these types of situations work.
