I am a clinical social worker with a Master Degree who has worked for 27 years exclusively with children and families across a variety of systems advocating for the many ways families can be structured and provide the care their children need to thrive and grow. I am a mentor to graduate students and contract lecturer with The University of Winnipeg, Faculty of Developmental Studies. I am a member of my professional body Manitoba College Social Workers (MCSW) as well CPM.

Currently in private practice, I provide Parent Coaching, Parenting  Capacity Assessments, Guardianship Applications. I hold an appointment to the Attorney General’s Office as an Independent Family Evaluator under section 41, Part IX of the Queen’s Bench Act. In this role I provide private clinical assessments for the Family Courts in the area of Custody and Family Conciliation to the court. I have been recognized as an expert witness and provide opinions to the family courts which support plans for children and families.

I am dedicated  to utilizing collaboration and mediation in smoothing the transition in families who are redefining their family structure. This includes the trials and difficulties that are common in separation, divorce and co-parenting. Supporting both parents to communicate productively and respectfully and problem solving together to make the best decisions for their family is possible and an excellent option for everyone involved.
