Sarah graduated with an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Winnipeg in 2016, receiving the Gold Medal for the highest standing in her faculty. Sarah went on to complete her Juris Doctorate from the University Of Manitoba Faculty Of Law in 2019. Sarah joined the firm Bennet Waugh Corne after completing her articles at Legal Aid Manitoba, having experience in both family and child protection law. Sarah recently completed her certification with Collaborative Practice Manitoba and is eager to assist families through the collaborative process and by way of negotiated settlements. Sarah believes that the collaborative process provides a beneficial opportunity to families in allowing the parents to have control over the outcomes of the process and assist in the transition from being partners to co-parents through a child-centered approach.

Sarah is a member of the Manitoba Bar Association and actively participates in professional development opportunities.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her partner and their two children, practicing yoga, and playing a variety of musical instruments, most recently attempting to learn to play the violin.
